Hello, and welcome — I'm Steph.

I've spent over thirty years as an aromatherapist and formulator, making skincare by hand and getting to know, intimately, what makes a truly good ingredient. Cosmetics Ingredients Ireland grew straight out of that experience.

For years, running my own skincare business, I kept hitting the same wall. The quality ingredients I wanted meant sourcing from abroad — paying import fees, dealing with customs, and then waiting, and waiting, for everything to arrive. I knew I couldn't be the only maker in Ireland feeling that frustration.

So I set this shop up to be the answer: a one-stop shop for makers and small skincare businesses like my own, right here in Ireland. Somewhere you can get the ingredients you actually need, quickly — without the import fees, and without the excess waiting times.

Quality is everything to me. Wherever I possibly can, I source directly from the distiller, and I choose oils that are cold pressed — because thirty years of formulating has taught me that the care taken in how an ingredient is made shows up in the finished product every single time. I only stock what I'd happily reach for in my own formulations.
