Coconut Oil Fractionated MCT

Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT) is the light, silky, endlessly useful one. Thin and completely liquid, non-greasy and beautifully stable, it's an absolute joy to formulate with.

INCI: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

Wonderful for: conditioning skin and hair while staying light, and helping to improve the skin's barrier. It's one of the few oils that can actually penetrate the hair strand, so it's wonderful in conditioners.

What to make with it: a lovely carrier for essential oils and massage blends, and it adds a silky slip to creams, balms, masks, scrubs, butters and emulsions. Use at up to 100%.

• Absorption: penetrates quickly, with a non-greasy finish
• Very good heat and oxidation stability — a long shelf life
• Melting point around 25°C
• A firm favourite in aromatherapy and massage
